First the kids made cute little marshmallow witches...and quickly ate them (after Mom got a good picture)
Then we had a yummy dinner of Chili, soup, breadsticks, donuts, fruit and veggies. I'm sad I didn't get a picture, but Alivia was having a great time lying on the ground during dinner just talking (screaming) her lungs out. I think that since it was so loud there, she felt like she could be loud too and so she decided to let everyone know she was there. :) Such a cute little noisy bug.
After dinner the kids headed out to go through the corn maze and into the pumpkin patch to pick out their pumpkins.
Grandpa's awesome Corn Maze
The girls walking through
They each picked out a pumpkin, but we decided not to carve them until it got a little closer to Halloween.
Here we attempted to get a picture of all the kids in their costumes (not an easy feat) and I think we did okay. Poor Aivree was getting her hair pulled so she wasn't too happy in the picture (Aivree was having a tough day. Right before we came to the party I took the girls to Walmart and she was standing in the grocery cart and fell out and hit her eye right on the cart. Big black eye. It's so purple and swollen and I just know it's going to look terrible in the morning) :( Alivia is the little yellow bird behind Aivree, eating her finger of course. I think that is the only picture I got of her the whole night. She was such a good girl though as usual. She took a good nap right when we got there and was a happy girl the rest of the night.
Next everyone headed in to have a visit with Tim the Wizard
Ani has finally got over her fear of this part and realizes that it's all for fun (even though it's scary)
Aivree was pretty nervous, but she did good too
Here they are eating "brains" (jello) Aivree really enjoyed hers
Ani was brave enough to get the eyeball out of the bowl, even though the scary hand tried to grab her
The Wizard gave everyone little treat bags and Ani loved this little Halloween activity book. Here she is doing the Word Search.
Even though there were a few hiccups (mostly for Aivree, the poor thing is so accident prone!), it was a fun night and made the girls very excited for Halloween!
