DISNEYLAND! (Day 4&5 play by play)

DAY 4:
We headed out even earlier on Thursday to take advantage of the early morning hours and get in line for the Cars ride. We didn't find out until we got there that our early hours were only for Disneyland. So, some of the group waited to get in at California Adventure and some went to Disneyland. We hadn't made it to Toon Town yet, so we headed there and found out it didn't open until 11:00. That was a bummer. :( We went on Small World again since there was no line (third time for the girls, definitely a favorite).
Alivia enjoyed all the colors. haha
My girls of course have been singing this song ever since.  All it takes is one ride and you've learned the song and they went on it 3 times!  Aivree was singing it at church when we got back one week and we have a good laugh because Anisten thought the words were "It's a world of laughter, a world of juice"  haha  Such funny girls and fun memories
Then we went to meet up with everyone at CA. My Dad got in line pretty early for the Cars Radiator Springs FastPass line and got all of us FastPasses. We headed straight to the ride when the park opened and the line was already 45 minutes long. My parents, Rob and Anisten waited in line to go on it while I hung out with a sleeping Alivia and a tiny bit too short Aivree. As soon as they got off the ride it was about the time to use the FastPasses so Rob ended up going on the Radiator Springs ride three times in a row (Ani didn't want to to go again and Aivree couldn't). I was able to go two times. Cutest.Ride.Ever!!! They make everything look so realistic you feel like you are in the movie and talking to actual cars. I just can't get over it. So cute.
At the beginning of the ride you take a nice little drive through Radiator Springs and you see this beautiful waterfall just like in the movie.
Then you meet up with another car at one point and you "race"
We raced this car with Kina, Brody, Kaylee and Lexi in it
Our car won! You can see me, Rob, Bryce and Janica in our car
 The Kendall's car (they lost)

Lightning McQueen and Mater at the end of the ride
So we pretty much spent the morning hanging out at the Cars ride and I was feeling really bad that Aivree didn't get to go on anything so we did the Mater ride again and then went to get lunch.
Little Alivia was such a happy girl.  I bought her this little toy before we left to Disneyland so she'd have some entertainment in the stroller and she just loved it.  She was on a first name basis with the little tiger by the end of this trip.

After lunch we went to the Toy Story ride and loved it.  I was feeding Alivia while Rob, the girls and my mom went on it and then as soon as they got off we all got back in line again because they loved it so much they wanted to do it again.  Aivree was the only one who didn't like it that much because it's a 3D video game type ride and you really needed two hands to play.  Since she had a broken arm, it made it kinda hard for her, but she still like looking at everything.  After that we went to Soarin Over California and loved that as well.  I was just constantly amazed at how creative everything was.  So cute.  Then we headed back to the hotel to relax and eat dinner before coming back for World of Color.
It was fun to come back and see the place all lit up.
Here's me and Livvy in front of the Cozy Cone Hotel in Cars Land
Rob and Ani in front of Flo's V8 Cafe
And here is Lightning McQueen driving through town.  Still don't know how they did that.  Amazing
Then we headed over to Paradise Pier to watch World of Color
We didn't have the greatest "seats" but it was still pretty amazing to watch.  The girls absolutely loved watching this and it was probably their favorite thing.
Here's Aivree in awe :)
Ani was very impressed too
Here's the best picture I could get of it.  They shoot water clear up in the sky and use light and video and music and it's just incredible to watch.  Alivia was loving it too, even though it was way past her bedtime
We headed home after that.  Here's a picture of some of our crew on the bus.  We rode the bus quite a bit, so I wanted to make sure we got a picture of it.
Aivree was not a happy camper because she was sad to be leaving and she was super tired too
This was Alivia's first "late night" and she did amazing.  I made sure that I fed her at her normal time and I usually put her to bed right after, but instead she watched World of Color.  When we got back to the hotel I put her in her pajamas and she went right to sleep and slept good all night again.  She did so good.
This is on the bus ride back
Here's Livvy the next morning.  Happy Girl!!
We were all pretty bummed to be leaving the next day, but leave we must.  Aivree threw a gigantic fit at the airport in California that was pretty embarrassing.  She was super tired from lack of sleep the night before and I think she was bummed to be leaving. Everything went well on the airplane ride home again.  Alivia slept the whole time again, Anisten's ears didn't hurt this time and Aivree fell asleep.  Rob put her in the stroller when we got off the plane and she stayed asleep until we got to our car (like I said, she was very tired).
It was such an incredible trip and we all had so much fun and made so many memories to last a lifetime.  We can't wait to go back again.  Thanks so much to my wonderful parents who made it all happen.  They were amazing the whole time, helping out with all the kids and going on lots of rides I'm sure they'd had enough of (Small World), making it possible for us big kids to ride fun rides too.  It really couldn't have gone any better and we are so thankful for this experience.  Love you so much Mom and Dad/Grandma and Grandpa!!
