For family night the other night (October 8), we thought it would be fun to go on a hike in the beautiful leaf-changing mountains (Fernwood). It was fun and it was gorgeous. There's nothing like being active and enjoying nature with your family. First we got dinner from Cutler's and took it up so we could have a picnic dinner before our hike. The girls ate so fast (so rare for them), they were excited to get started.
I got lots of pictures. There was about four families up there getting family pictures taken. It's just a beautiful time of year.
Speaking of beautiful...My three best girls
My girls and me and the pretty trees
Alivia had her first experience with the Snugli and did awesome. She was quiet the whole time and just looked around at everything. I kept thinking she'd go to sleep, but she didn't. Too much to see.
Love this one
Daddy showing the girls where our house is :)
Love the view
Of course the girls had to go play in the water for a minute; throw rocks, float leaves
Livvy's hanging out in back now
Ani and Aivree pointed out all the "pink" trees. They were the favorite of course
Look at those mountains! One of the perks of living in Utah
We also got to enjoy a gorgeous sunset
And naturally, since we were outside, the girls got filthy. Especially little miss Aivree who spent a lot of time on the ground
My silly girls
Alivia fell asleep as soon as she got in the car. She was such a good girl.
What a wonderful day!
The girls were so good on the way home; they decided they were hungry and wanted a snack before bed so they asked for some carrots and apples! What healthy little hikers :)
