My baby is ONE (Alivia's 9-12 months recap)

The past three months, I feel my baby has grown into...not a baby anymore. :(  She's definitely began to show her personality more and she's started to have an opinion about things.  It's been so much fun and her sisters are figuring out that she has the potential to be a playmate.  They've also figured out that she can be a destroyer, which is what she does often to their stuff.  It just makes me so sad that she's already one year old.  Why do our babies have to grow up?
She got two more teeth that came in when she was nine months.  The front middle and the one to the left of it, if you're looking at her.  Then at ten months the other front middle tooth came in and then at 11 months she got a third one in on the bottom.  Her teeth are coming in like crazy!  I don't even see them coming until they're there sometimes.  Considering all the teething that's been going on, she's really still been a very good baby.  You can tell when she's not feeling well though because she wants mom in her sight at all times. She's got her teeth in so much faster than my other girls though, it's crazy.
Watching Baby Einstein.  On those days when she's been clingy from all those teeth coming in, this is the one thing that helps me get some things done.  She likes Baby Einstein.
Some things that have still stuck around since she was just a few months old is that she's still a finger sucker. >sigh< It helps her sleep and in the car and she loves it.  I just hope that by the time she goes to Kindergarten, she's not sucking her finger every time she's nervous, tired or hungry.
..and she still loves to eat hair.  Or in this case, couch fuzz.  I remember Aivree doing this too; she grabs a fistful of fuzz hanging on the bottom of the couch and then puts it in her mouth.  Why my baby's like to eat hair, I will never understand.
She is such a good sleeper.  She sleeps pretty close to 12 hours a night and then usually takes two 1 1/2 hour naps a day (one at 10 am and another around 2:30 pm).  I usually put her to bed between 7 and 8 pm.  She always wakes up happy (even when I have to wake her up) and she goes down really well too.  She still naps in her sleep sack.  I've tried to put her down without it and she just plays.  Apparently that's a signal to her that it's naptime, so she goes right to sleep once its on.
We've loved having a video monitor this time around and I thought this was too funny.  She has her burp cloth and her buttercup doll on her head while she's sleeping.
Since I usually put her to bed before her sisters, she usually wakes up before they do.  Sometimes a little too before :)
Who can resist that face..even early in the morning?

 Wake up daddy!
We think she somehow figured out that the little green light on top of her bed had something to do with mommy coming.  She got to where it'd become her toy to play with when she woke up, so we had to move it out of reach.
Such a happy girl
She continued to army crawl to get around...
Time to put up the baby gate!
And finally at ten months, she decided to get on all fours to crawl.  She first started real crawling down this hallway.  I'm not sure why, but it was easier for her somehow, probably the tile.
She just loves to be chased. She always gives me this cute smile when I'm coming after her.
Of course, moving around more means more owies.  She's got lots of bonks and bruises lately!!
First bloody lip

Bonk on her cheek
We started to have some fun with her hair.  Cute little piggytails

She's also got very naturally curly hair just like her sisters did when they were babies.  Look at those curls!
It was around this time that she started figuring out that mommy was pretty boring and she wanted to go check out what those sisters were up to.  They always sounded like they were having so much fun.  There were so many times when I'd have no idea where she crawled off to, only to find her hanging out with her sisters.  She sure wants to be big like them and play, play, play.  They're pretty good to include her too..for the most part.

I wish I could play with them outside
She found this funny little hole in her face that her finger fits perfectly into

I forgot how messy this age gets.  Feeding time is the WORST.  I swear I have to change her clothes after every feeding almost.  She wears more of her food than making it to her mouth.  It's amazing.  She sure can pack it down though.  She's a big eater and loves pretty much everything.

Sitting at the big table like a big girl
Not only is feeding time messy, but she's figuring out real fast how to make a mess EVERYWHERE.  Alivia is our Mess Monster!!

Going right along with being messy..she's figuring out how to get into trouble.  They go hand in hand most of the time
She started doing the funniest stuff once she could crawl.  My favorite is her tripod.  She puts her head on the ground and sticks her bum in the air and looks out between her legs.  I'm not kidding you...she does this all.the.time!!!  She just loves to see the world from this angle I guess.  She thinks it's pretty funny too.

Here she is rubbing her face along the floor.  Once again..she thinks it's funny.  I don't know

Once she figured out how to pull herself up, we introduced her to her walker and now everything is a walker!  Anything that will move when she pushes it becomes her walker.  She loves to walk already and I think she's frustrated that she can't do it by herself yet.
Pulling herself up...
 Cute girl!

Her first time on a swing.  Loved it!

I know this was a long post, but I seriously take pictures all the time and I want to make sure I document whatever I can.  I just love watching how they grow..even though it makes me sad.
