Rollins Easter Day

On March 24th, a week before Easter, the Rollins held their annual Easter party.  Rob had to work that day, but fortunately he was able to get home in time to come.  We started off with a yummy turkey dinner and then the kids began dyeing the eggs.

After the eggs were hidden (scattered) in the yard, we all headed out to gather up what we could find.  The plastic eggs had their names (AV for Aivree, or AN for Ani) on them.

Aivree got so excited every time she found one.."Mom, this one says AV!"
Unfortunately, since Easter came so soon this year (March 31!), it was pretty cold outside during the hunt.  You can see we're all pretty bundled up.
Here are the girls with their buckets.  They got all kinds of fun stuff including a new dress and money.

Here's Livi and Jagger playing with some eggs too. :)
They also did a hunt for the kids to find a gold, silver, or bronze egg and they had money inside them.  Aivree was devastated when she didn't find one.  They also did one for the adults and we got gift cards as our prizes.  We didn't find the first place egg, but we got a gift card to the Cheesecake Factory, so we were happy.  Easter is always a fun time and the girls so look forward to their hunts every year.  Grandma and Grandpa spoiled us once again.
