I'm actually gonna start with the day before Christmas Eve. Rob had to work that day so I took the girls with me alone to church. It was an adventure, but we survived. :) Later the girls were playing the "nativity" and Alivia was baby Jesus.
Here they are. Ani is Mary, Aivree is Joseph and of course, happy Alivia is baby Jesus.
We also got this cute picture of Livvy as a Christmas present. She's our present this year and we sure do love her!
Later when Rob got home we went up to Mountain Green to a big Stevenson Family Christmas party with all my cousins and extended family. It was lots of fun and so good to see everyone that I haven't seen in so long. Poor Ani wasn't feeling well though and on the way home she threw up in the car! Luckily we had a plastic bag in the car that we'd used for trash and there wasn't much trash in it, so she puked in that. So glad we had that! She felt much better after that, but it was pretty sad. Anyway, just wanted to mention that little memory.
The next day Rob had to work again so I took the girls over to visit my Grandma and Grandpa Maxfield. We don't get to eat Christmas Eve dinner with them, so we make sure to visit them during the day. They are so sweet and my girls just love them.
Of course the girls got presents. Grandma buys them their Christmas jammies and they love it!
Here's Ani with her Merida nightgown
And Aivree with her Rapunzel
Alivia sitting with Grandma and her new jammies
She loves them too. So cozy
My grandma went all out this year and knitted slippers for all the grandkids to go with their pajamas! They are the cutest slippers ever and the girls absolutely love them. They came home and loved sliding around on the tile in them. They wear them all the time. Rob was wanting a pair really bad too. My grandma may have started something she didn't want to.
After Rob got home we headed over to the Rolllins' house for the festivities. We had a most delicious turkey dinner and then the kids put on a little Nativity.
Ani was the angel. She took her role very seriously. Aivree was a sheep and she did well for about one "baa" and then she was too embarrassed to continue. I thought she was the cutest sheep I ever saw though.
The cute cousins in the Nativity
Grandpa reading The Night Before Christmas story
Alivia was a happy and loving all the excitement
She got to open her present first and here she is checkin out her new toy
Aivree and Ani got their turns too and they got all kinds of new coloring stuff! Ani especially was thrilled about that.
They gave Rob and I cash for Christmas which was very much needed and appreciated. Me and Livvy enjoying all the fun
Mom and Dad opening their present. We gave them season tickets to the Hale Centre Theatre again. We gave it to them last year and they loved it, so it may become a tradition.
We had a great Christmas Eve. Fortunately Anisten was feeling better and was able to enjoy it all. It was fun to spend time with family and grandma and grandpa spoiled us once again.
