The Week after

Rob was given a week of leave after we had Alivia which was so nice!  We loved having him around and it was the perfect way to ease into our new life (except that he had to go out of town the very next week..oh well.  What can ya do?).  We did some fun things together and the girls had some fun daddy time while I adjusted to a newborn schedule.  For the most part we just hung out a lot and enjoyed having the whole family home together.
The day after we got home Anisten lost her first tooth!  It had been loose for awhile and earlier that day I was about to pull it out because it was seriously hanging by a thread, but she wouldn't let me.  Then she was drinking out of a water bottle and after she swallowed the water she spits out her tooth and says "My tooth just came out!"  So glad she didn't swallow it.
And here she is the next morning with a dollar the tooth fairy left her and some water the tooth fairy drank and then colored pink.  Ani was pretty excited.  I can't believe she's already losing teeth.  She's getting so big!  >sniff<
Poor little Aivree.  During the first week after we brought Alivia home, sickness hit our house again.  Aivree got a high fever and cold like symptoms.  She was also waking up pretty much every night, which made me grateful that Rob was home.  Here she is after crashing one day in the middle of the floor.  She was so tired and not feeling well.  So sad.  The good news is that the fever only lasted a few days and while she had medicine in her, she was great.
One "project" that Rob wanted to do while he was home was get the girl's sandbox done.  Here they are enjoying the sand.  They seriously could play out there for hours.  Good project daddy :)
Here's a quick update of our garden.  Everything is growing really well!
Rob took Ani golfing one day.  She really liked it.  Isn't she cute?
The girls dressed up like diva's outside

We took them to "the bouncy place" at the Syracuse Fun Center.  Probably their favorite part of the week

Especially because after that, we did this...We let them rent a Barbie movie from Blockbuster and then we got pizza and ate it while we watched the movie together on blankets in the family room.  This is one of their favorite things to do ever
This was actually the following week, but I decided to post it here because it was the girls having fun with daddy.  He took them "hiking" up at Fernwood..
..and let them walk in the water.  Such a fun daddy.  I was sad I missed this
And here is Rob spending time with his other daughter.  I noticed that in the hospital post he wasn't in any of the pictures because he was the one taking all of them so I had to make sure to get a picture of him and Alivia.
And then of course I took about a million pictures of this new little bundle....I just can't resist!

I took her to sacrament meeting the Sunday after she'd been home a week (Father's Day) and this is the cute outfit she wore (Kina gave it to me).  Unfortunately she puked all over it and soaked her outfit and the carseat, so we had to change her.  Then I put a different outfit on her and later she had her first blowout in it.  Quite a messy day!  :)
So far she has been such a good baby.  I've tried to get her on a routine so she's been taking her long stretches of sleep at night which helps keep me sane.  She is so much fun and we just can't get enough of her, especially her sisters.  I can't understand why they feel the need to be within two inches of her face or closer.  Not sure why they do that, but they seriously could just stare at her all day long.  If she sneezes it is big news around here.  She is already so loved and I couldn't be more thrilled about our little family of five.  My heart is overflowing.
