Spring Day

On April 28th my parents did their Annual Spring Day party.  It's what they do instead of an Easter egg hunt.  The girls LOVE it of course.  My mom went with a Disney type theme this year because we are going to Disneyland in September and we're all getting very excited about that trip.  Here are the girls looking for and finding all their prizes.

We usually have our Amazing Race for the adults on this day and this year, with the cost of gas and my being quite pregnant, my mom decided to omit the running around town racing part and do just the games part. It worked out great and was still a lot of fun. We have such a competitive family so that makes it fun. ;)

The first "task" was to build this castle just from looking at a picture and then get the golf balls through a maze into the middle of the castle.  Yeah, Rob and our team lost.

We had to make pirate hats and wear them for one of the tasks.  So fun to see everyone being such a good sport and getting into the fun.

As you can see Bryce and Janica won again...we're beginning to really hate them.  haha ;)  Rob and I came in third.  Well, there's always next year!
Sticking with the Disney theme my mom made these cute Mickey Mouse cupcakes.  She came up with the idea all on her own. So creative.

The grandkids waiting for their final "surprise."
My parents bought a fun new trampoline!  These grandkids are so spoiled
And here's our crew (minus mom).  I just love my family.  We had a fun day together.  Thanks so much mom and dad for all the hard work you put into days like this.  We really do appreciate it.
