The girls were very happy when it was finally Halloween. We had so many parties and things leading up to it and now it was finally here. And luckily the weather was awesome (which is more than we can say for last year)!
First off we met my friend Deeann and her little boy Dexter at Macey's to do some early trick-or-treating. We were going to go to the mall, but they didn't start until later, so we decided Macey's would work.
Here are the girls dressed in their costumes at Maceys (I braided Ani's wig and put flowers on the braid just like in the movie. It helped keep it out of her face for awhile at least).

The trick or treating was okay there. Not a whole lot and the girls were kind of disappointed about that, but it was okay because they knew there was more to come. Out in the parking lot Dexter showed us how he could walk now! He's just starting to walk and he actually looks just like Frankenstein when he walks, so his costume was perfect (in fact, that's why they chose it). Such a cutie.

That night we had pizza for dinner and then some of our friends in the neighborhood brought their kids over to go trick or treating with us. They have four kids and two of them are the same age as our girls and are friends at church. It was really fun to have someone to go with.Trick or Treat!

Our neighborhood was really fun. One house was handing out donuts as well as full size candy bars, one was giving out hot chocolate and another had a haunted house in their garage. It was so much fun and just going down the street and back, the kids got lots of candy.
Poor Aivree was a little slower than the others. Look at her luggin that big bag of candy
Rob was going to head home early to start handing out candy at our house and Aivree was acting tired so she was going to go with him, but one of our neighbors said she could take their wagon. I thought that was soo nice of them. She was happier about that. Isabel got to ride too. :)
After a couple hours (from 5-7) of trick or treating the girls were ready to come home. Here they are with all their goods.
