Halloween Fun #4 - Rollins Halloween Party

The Rollins Halloween party was on October 29th this year. They started off with a corn maze to get to the pumpkin patch where they picked out their pumpkins.

Here everyone is gathering at the beginning of Grandpa's corn maze

Once everyone picked out a pumpkin it was carving time. Rob gets that job every year and he does a good job, so we let him keep it. :)
Scott came as a lunch lady and I thought he looked so perfect, especially carving out his pumpkin. haha

While everyone else was carving the pumpkins the girls went to check out the corn maze again. Here they are entering together...

But about two seconds later Aivree bolted out. She was too scared.

Here's all the grandkids dressed up in their costumes

And I had to get a picture of Scott and Ali. They were the only adults that dressed up and I thought they looked great

And dinner was next. We had the traditional chili/soup and donuts. I loved this jack o lantern display Ali did with the veggies. So creative

After dinner the kids watched Scooby-Doo while "the wizard" got things ready. Once he did we gathered downstairs to hear him (in the dark). This picture is so classic. Anisten is biting her nail and Emma is sucking her thumb...nervous are we, girls?

The Wizard then passed out bags of candy to everyone

When it was over everyone was just hanging out and talking and Aivree just started dancing right in the middle of everyone. She was putting on quite a show. It was cute...and pretty funny

On a side note, October 29th is my birthday so it was fun to have a family activity that day, but it was also nice that Rob and I got to go on a date the night before. We went and saw the movie Real Steel and then went to eat at Sizzler. We don't get to go on dates very much so it was a great birthday present to go on a date. He also got me a gift card to Kohls and chocolate. :) I had a good birthday and a fun Halloween night.
