The First Snow

We had our first snow of the year on November 5th and although Rob was groaning inwardly (he hates the thought of working in it), the girls were ecstatic! They of course wanted to play in it immediately, but I made them eat breakfast first. They loved it and played out there for quite awhile. I certainly wouldn't have lasted that long.

I'm not sure what it is, but the very first thing they do once they get out there is put the snow in their mouths! It's like, they just can't help themselves.

Snow Angels!

It snowed again on November 19th (both Saturdays, we've had some cold weekends so far) and as soon as the girls had breakfast they were headed out there again. I don't know why, but I just love seeing them all bundled up in their snow clothes. They just look so cute, so I have to get my camera out every time.

After about an hour of playing Aivree came in and said "my hands are freezing!" We made them some hot chocolate and had them sit by a warm fire. Sometimes I just love winter days.

This is a picture that Anisten took shortly after they came in. I had to put it in because #1, Anisten should NOT be using my camera to take pictures and #2, Aivree is on top of our end table! Naughty girls, but I sure do love them! ;)
