Sunny Fun in December

The first couple weeks of December were actually pretty mild as far as weather goes. Which was nice for Rob because he could get a lot done on the house...if only it would've stayed that way huh? Well, Rob wasn't the only one to take advantage of the December sun. Ani was so excited about the snow, but it never really snowed a lot here to give her much to play in. She did have fun playing in what little snow there was.

Still warm enough for some chalk drawings! I made them wear boots because the grass was wet Such cute sisters (pictures like this just melt my heart) This day was warm enough that all Anisten needed was a jacket to play outside. She was so excited to run around in the snow!

Here she is decked out in snow clothes, ready to go (one of the colder days, but still sunny)

So cute And of course there was the "inside" snow. I ordered a lot of stuff online this year, so we had packages coming all the time. One time there were these packaging peanuts in a box and the girls loved it.

Such a lovely mess huh?
Anisten loved to jump and throw them in the air
Aivree climbed inside the box and began handing out the snow Aivree had some in her mouth too and then figured out it didn't taste so good so she took it out. I think she's wondering how Anisten could keep it in her mouth so long.

Since there wasn't much snow to play with outside, the girls made good use of this, don't you think?

I had to add this, just because I think its hilarious. My girls are at a stage where one minute they are the best of friends and the next they are biting and hitting each other (you know how girls are, yikes!). So its those moments when they are happily playing together and laughing that I cherish, of course.
Well, fortunately this was one of those times when they seemed to be getting along. Aivree loves to climb in and on anything (see above picture of her in the box) whether she should or could doesn't really matter. She always tries. Well, she decided to try to sit into the little stroller that the girls use for their dolls. She doesn't fit in it the way a baby doll should, but that doesn't seem to bother her.

At first I was very afraid that she would break it or it would collapse on her or something, but it has held up surprisingly well. Such a cute baby doll
Here Anisten put a "seatbelt" around Aivree. So nice of her to think safe huh?
I'm not sure how, but Aivree somehow duped Anisten into pushing her around in this stroller and Anisten being the nice sister that she is, does so willingly.

But it's not without it's rewards for her either ;)

Who needs dolls when you have a sister?
