Happy Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving this year we were at the Stevenson's ...so, home for us (right now). My mom decorated the table so beautifully I thought. And she had all the food pretty much under control too. I felt very helpless. :) We ate at 2:00 which is right during Aivree's nap, so she missed out on the grand feast, but I don't think she was too upset about it. It was a bit easier on us that way too.
Preparing the feast

Dad and the turkey..both looking good

Everyone enjoying the meal

Ani pretending to eat her turkey. She put it in her mouth for the picture and then of course took it right out.

Ani was so excited about Thanksgiving. She loves it when her family gets together

We had a really fun day eating (of course), hanging out, browsing black friday ads and playing games. I kept going back and forth trying to decide if I wanted to lose sleep over all the Black Friday deals or not. It was VERY tempting to go join the crazy crowds. But in the end, I decided it really wasn't necessary. I was able to get most of what I wanted online Thursday and Friday which was actually really nice..and warm.

On Friday we took the girls to see Tangled and I gotta say, I absolutely LOVED it! Gotta be my new favorite Disney Princess movie. It was so good. The girls loved it too. Aivree even held still most of the time and really seemed to like it. So cute. Anisten always puts things on her head now and says she's Rapunzel.

On Saturday we put up our humble little Christmas tree. This is as far as our Christmas decorating is going this year and Anisten was so excited about it. In fact, I let her do most of the decorating. Aivree wanted to help a lot too, so she managed to break every ornament she touched (three total!)
Isn't she doing well? Don't ya love how the majority of the ornaments are right about her level?

Such a cute girl..she just loves Christmas!
Aivree with her broken ornament...oops

Hopefully everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Sorry this post is so late. I've been dealing with headaches lately, so that pretty much limits my computer time. I have SOO much to be thankful for all year round. My wonderful husband and beautiful girls bring so much happiness and fulfillment to my life. Not to mention being surrounded by good family and friends and the gospel. I am very blessed.

Also, so fun that you went to SYTYCD! We bought tickets for my mom for Christmas. Can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks!
