Happy Birthday Anisten!!

On January 10th my baby girl turned TWO YEARS old!! I still can't believe it. I think she enjoyed the day although she still isn't totally sure what birthdays are all about. She kept handing balloons to Rob and I and saying "Happy Birthday mom/dad!" It was pretty cute. (Sorry it's taken me so long to post. It's been pretty busy lately)

I tried to stick with a Little Mermaid theme, but everything is just all Princess right now so we went that route. Which is fine, she's starting to like all of them.

We ended up going to Arctic Circle for dinner because we tried to go to Chuck E Cheese, but the line was out the door! I figured the toys are all the same to her and Arctic Circle was a lot less crowded. She wouldn't stop to eat anything anyway, so the food wasn't an issue. Here she is going down a slide with Grandma. She didn't want to leave.

We are singing Happy Birthday to her in this picture. She was a little surprised. We actually sang it to her and towards the end a bunch more people showed up, so we sang to her again. Two years old, two birthday songs.Opening presents. Nice form eh?

She got lots of fun toys and clothes. Thanks everyone for coming!

Here she is with her new Little Einstein movies. I don't think a day has gone by since she got those that we haven't watched one. She LOVES Little Einsteins!

I just wanted to write a few things about Anisten at age two:

- Favorite food is Life Cereal and asks for it as soon as I get her out of bed in the morning.
- Favorite show is Little Einsteins, but also loves the movies Horton Hears a Who and The Little Mermaid.
- She loves to jump and spin (although not at the same time..thankfully). She could seriously jump for hours. And she could spin for hours...I don't know how she doesn't get sick.
- She loves to pretend. She makes food in her kitchen and brings it to me to eat. She always makes sure I have a fork or spoon.
- She loves watching videos of herself on my cell phone. She smiles and laughs all over again.
- She thinks that if she doesn't give you a kiss goodbye you won't leave. She really doesn't like it when daddy leaves.
- She sleeps with a blanket, bear, baby and sippy cup of water (it's pretty crowded in her bed). She's finally getting to where she could be without the bear and the baby, but the blanket and water she's still pretty attached to. Silly girl.
- For some reason she does not like to get dressed. This is a chore for her. She would stay in her pajamas all day if she could.
- She is a computer whiz. She knows how to use the mouse and click and even put discs in the drive. It's crazy!
- She still loves to read books (her love started when she was 9 months). She gets so excited when we go to the Library once a month and get new books.
- She has beautiful long curly hair. Not sure where all that natural curl came from, but it is cute.
- Sometimes she will just come up to me and give me a big hug and say "I love you too." It's so random and sooo cute. It's enough to melt anyone's heart. She's very sweet.

I'd better stop there. What a blessing Anisten is in my life and I am so happy to be able to spend each day with her and be her mom. Hope you had a great birthday Ani!! I LOVE YOU!
