New Years and Snow Day

Happy 2009! Hope everyone had a fun New Year's. We got together with family and played games and I actually put Anisten to bed at a somewhat decent hour (9 pm) because I am lucky enough to have live-in babysitters (I just don't think it's worth it to deal with a tired child for two days). Anyway, I think she had fun even though she didn't ring in the new year at midnight like everyone else.

Here is a hilarious video of the cousins playing the 100 meter race on the Wii and Anisten wanting to be just like them. We all started yelling for her and she loved it. Too cute (the quality isn't great - I took it from my phone, but I think you get the idea).

We had a very snowy day the other day and so Anisten got to open her birthday present from Grandma Stevenson a little early...Snow clothes! She absolutely loved it outside in the snow. Note the makeshift gloves...we're still looking for some waterproof mittens.
