Yes we're alive

Hey it's been awhile! Sorry about that. It's been a crazy couple of months around here. The good news is..we're in our house! Yay! We are loving it. The bad news is...I'm pretty sure we're going to need a new computer if I want to keep up on this blogging thing. As of right now, it doesn't even give me the option to post a picture. So, that's kind of a problem as far as I'm concerned. So until we get it figured out, our blog will be without visuals.

Our first night in our new house was Thursday of last week (Feb 26). It's been kind of a crazy week getting everything organized (just about done) and getting internet/TV installed, etc. I was super worried about how Anisten would adjust to the move. I tried bringing her over here a lot before so she would get used to the place. The first night was kind of rough on her. When I told her it was bath time she started crying and said "Bye bye in car!" She did surprisingly well though and I think she is really starting to love her new home. As for filling the void of having Gma/Gpa around all the time..Rob is home a lot more so she gets to spend some time with her daddy again. That and we've had people coming and going a lot this week. She does still wake up asking for one of her grandparents sometimes. I'm sure she misses seeing them so much (and so do we). Thanks again mom and dad for letting us invade your home for over a year. I don't see how we can ever repay you for everything you've done. I'll try to figure out something. We love you!

As for the pregnancy...we're getting soo close! A few weeks back my doctor said that he would most likely induce me a week before my due date (which would mean March 18) because of my diabetes, if I hadn't gone on my own already. So, that's only 2 weeks away now!! At my last appointment I was dilated to an almost 2 and 50% effaced. I've been cramping/contracting a lot this week too, so we'll see how much further along I am at my appointment on Friday. I am just so excited that my body is actually doing something. With Anisten I went in on my due date to get induced and I wasn't even dilated to a 1 yet. This definitely feels different than my last month with Anisten and I'm grateful. I'd rather go on my own than get induced, just because I think it would be easier. Anyway, as far as a name goes for our new baby girl, I'd like to thank all those who expressed an opinion in our poll. You didn't make it much easier, since they were all mostly even the whole time but the name we have decided on is...Aivree Brianne Rollins. I know, I know, Aivree (or Avery, or Avaree) wasn't even an option in the poll, but we kind of mentally added it to our list a while back and we've just recently agreed that it is our favorite and decided on the spelling. We weren't necessarily going for another 'A' name, but it just worked out that way. So, there you have it. We've finally decided.

One more thing I wanted to add: It was a pretty sad day for me on February 13th because we put my cat of 14 years to sleep. She was just getting so old and hard to care for and my parents were doing most of the caring, so we agreed that it would be the best thing for her. Especially since we wouldn't be able to care for her as well once we moved into our house and had a new baby. She just wasn't very happy anymore and she was in pain. I didn't realize how sad it would be for me, but it really was. So we are pet free for now and I'm okay with that.

Sorry this post was so long and boring looking. I promise I will post some pics as soon as I am able.

How exciting to be in your new house, I bet you just love it (can't wait to see pictures)! I can see how it would be hard for Anisten, having Grandma and Grandpa around all the time is the best! Also excited to see pictures of that new baby, you are getting so close! Sorry about your cat, that is a long time to have a pet. Also didn't think the post was boring, glad to see everything is going well for you! Can't wait for all the updates!

I am glad to know you are still alive! I was wondering how close you were getting to having your little girl and I love her name. I think 2 A names is really cute, our boys are both L which just kinda happened as well but I like it that way now. How exciting to be in your new house right in time for a new baby. Good luck I hope all goes well, and quickly!
