Indiana Jones Marathon

This past week Rob and I decided to watch all the Indiana Jones movies before going to see the new one. We actually went out and bought all of the DVD's, so now they are a lovely addition to our movie collection. I could remember pretty much nothing from the movies and Rob was appalled at this, so he was adamant we watch/buy them. I really liked them (except the second one, that satanic cult stuff got to me) and we had fun watching them. We went to the latest installment - Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - on Saturday night. It was pretty entertaining. Of course there are the unbelievable parts (ongoing theme throughout the trilogy), but it was pretty well rounded with humor and intensity. I don't want to spoil anything, but I am interested to know what others thought of the ending.
For the most part, we were thrilled at being able to see a movie in the "big theater" (due to the fact that we went after Anisten was in bed and my parents were home for the night and able to be there if she needed something. Thanks mom and dad!). It doesn't happen often, so we learn to enjoy the time when it does.

We went to Indiana Jones yesterday too! But we got the enjoyment of taking both our kids with us, and they actually both did good. Blaise loved scarfing down popcorn and treats and only had to go to the bathroom 3 times during the movie. Aspen fell asleep after about 45 mins. What an experience. I thought it was a good movie - not better than the rest but not as stupid as it could have been...can u believe how much it costs to go to the movie nowadays - sheesh!

We went to see it while we were in San Diego (our theater here in Ridgerest leaves something to be desired). I was so excited when I heard the music that I got chills. I love Shia LeBeouf and Harrison Ford, but the plot was okay... it left something to be desired... Overall I was slightly disappointed, but had a good time watching it.
