A Day at the Park

Well, since we have had some beautiful days here in Utah this past week, our family decided to take advantage. Isn't it crazy how it seems there are so many more things to do when the weather is nice? Maybe, that's cuz there is. Anyway, we took Anisten to the Layton park when she was about 5 months old and she really liked looking at all the ducks and crazy seagulls. So, we wanted to take her again now that she could say "ducky" and "quack" and know somewhat of what was going on. She loves to be outside anyway, so we knew she'd enjoy it. Here are some pics of our day at the park: (hopefully I don't bore anyone. We took more pics than I thought) These ones made her a little nervous because they would walk right up to us. These birds are crazy I swear. They would kill each other over a piece of bread!
She felt a little better when we looked at the birds behind the fence.

Feeding the duckies! (or geese, or seagulls or whatever else was strong enough to get it)

Ani and her daddy (I love this picture)

Here's Anisten proving her independence once again. She loved to just run away from us and she didn't even care where she was going. Kind of scary for a mother, especially in a public park. I'm not excited about this stage when disciplining doesn't quite work yet, but is often needed. Any suggestions... let me know.

Weeeeeee! See how excited she is to be sliding? Oh yes, she just loves slides. (I think she really does, but she's not sure how to show it...?)

Cute pictures, I love the the first one where she is standing close to the ducks, you can tell she is a little nervous and doesn't know what to think. This weather has been so nice, I am just wishing it would stay!!

oh Brianne, these pictures are so cute. Good ol' Layton park never fails to disappoint. Do you remember that huge wooden circle thing that they had on the playground where you would get inside and turn it in a circle? I swear I always got slivers from that, what a health hazard. Anyway, I'm glad you got out and enjoyed the weather, it looks like Anisten had a great time

There is nothing better then going out on a warm day. Anisten looks so cute feeding the ducks. I think the birds are kind of scary they chase you everywhere. Anyways looks like you had a fun day!

I am so glad I got to see you and little Anisten. She is a doll! What a little mini-me...tell Rob I missed him. If you ever want a little getaway come on down to Vegas - you and Aleese should plan it for when she is in town! Anyways good to see you and cute pics!
