Attention: Stephenie Meyer fans

Or should I say Twilight Fans? To me, there is no difference. I figured the reason I enjoyed the Twilight Series so much was because of the way they were written and the ingenuity of the story (that's right, I called Stephenie Meyer a genius. She so is!) not necessarily because I'm a big vampire or werewolf fan. Well, as soon as her most recent release The Host came out I had to run out and get it. My review: LOVED IT!! I seriously lost sleep over this book. I thought she did an awesome job at coming up with another story that draws you in and makes you love the characters as much as you loved Edward (okay, maybe not that much. haha) I highly recommend this one!

Gasp! I am ashamed that I had not yet added you guys. I fear I have done that for a few people, I'm not so great at doings things right away, thus I forget. But be aware, thou art added! : )

By the way, you can still be my friend even if you haven't seen Iron Man yet. I know you shall get around. As for these books, I can't beleive how every single female in the world is obsessed with these. My wife is MADLY in love with them and has made her own blogs dedicated to Twilight (http://lubberoftwilight.blogspot.com) and Host (http://thehostandthemost.blogspot.com/). I do suggest you ch-ch-check it out and talk the goods!

P.S.- She says she'd leave me for Edward if he was real. : (

Hooray, I'm stoked to read it. My friend is letting me borrow it as soon as she's done and I'm dying with excitement! I agree with you, Stephenie is totally at genuis status in my book. And Chris, don't feel too bad. How can you expect to compete with perfection??

I love this book! I too got it for mother's day, and have stayed up the last three nights till 1:00 reading. I only have about 150 pages left. She is such a great writer, though I don't think I will ever love anyone as much as Edward.

I have my book but I haven't started it yet though. I'm worried that it won't meet my expectations because I LOVED Twillight! I saw Stephanie Meyer on Good Things Utah and she answered a viewer question and they said it was from Amy Stevenson in Syracuse. Was that you sister in law?

Yes that would be my sister in law Aimee. I totally missed the show (thanks for the info Brea, too bad I read it too late), but Aimee sent me an email of the clip and you can actually watch it all online. I love the songs someone made up about her and her books. Hilarious. I bought this, but haven't had time to read it yet. I know if I start it I'll ignore my child for a couple of days : )
