Stevenson Easter Eggstravaganza

On April 14 (our Ten Year Anniversary) we had our annual Easter get together at the Stevensons.  My mom hid some fun toys and prizes for the kids.  They got so much!

Then it was time for the adult's to go on their "Hunt."  It was a little different then our previous Amazing Races because Janica is pregnant, so my mom didn't want there to be a lot of running involved (we did anyway).  She handed each couple this enormous egg
And when it was time to go she gave us this paper.  We were going on a photo scavenger hunt and every picture we took had to include our egg.  Each picture was worth points and the team with the most points in 45 minutes won.  They also sent a clue at the end saying where we would be meeting them and our kids.  Whoever guessed the location was given additional bonus points.  It was such a blast!!

A picture of a worker at a fast food drive thru worker holding your EGG (we went to Krispy Kreme and got hats for another picture.  We also ordered donuts which he gave to us for free!  Gotta love Krispy Kreme)

A picture of you, your EGG and some kind of live animal (not a bird or reptile)
We could not stop laughing while we were taking these pictures and getting looks from people.  Oh my gosh, it was so fun.  The last question they sent us when time was up was "A shiny metal enclosure for animals" or something like that.  Anyway, it took Rob and I way too long to figure out that it was Golden Corral and we got there second to last.  Kina and Brody beat us all because he figured out Golden Corral first and got bonus points. :)  Its okay though...no sore losers here!
We then opened our eggs up to find candy and a trip for us all to go to the Living Planet Aquarium (which actually ended up changing to Lagoon later on)!  What a great prize.
The girls had fun with our egg
Then we got to enjoy dinner at Golden Corral.  So much fun and yummy.
The girls especially loved the chocolate fountain

She's a chocolate vampire!
We had so much fun the next week playing with all the new toys from Grandma
