Our frozen Cougars

On November 16th we had the opportunity to take the girl's to a BYU football game.  There were quite a few extra season tickets because people couldn't go for whatever reason, so we thought it would be fun to take Anisten and Aivree to a game.  We were planning on it for a couple of weeks and then when the day came it happened to be stormy and snowy, but we decided we'd go anyway.  We left Alivia with my parents and headed down.  The girls had a lot of fun in the car and Anisten, who absolutely hates long car rides, said "That wasn't that long!"  Once we got there we ate some lunch at ChikFilA and bundled up to go to the game.  Walking there it was raining a little bit.  Once we sat down though, it started coming down more and then it started snowing.

We were all in ponchos and coats, but the girl's (Ani especially) weren't loving it.  Rob kept telling Aivree to yell things (Go Defense! Get em! Go Taysom!)  and she would yell it as loud as she could.  I think she was enjoying the fact that she could actually yell and be loud and we were allowing it.  It was pretty funny.  BYU was playing Idaho State and as the second quarter started they were up by almost 25 points or something.  We told the girls that we would leave at halftime or the next touchdown.  We didn't have to wait long until the next touchdown and then we headed out, soggy and cold.  BYU ended up winning 59-13.

They smiled big for the picture, but they were actually pretty miserable.  It took a lot out of them to walk the few blocks back to the car nearly frozen, but it was still fun and I'm glad they got the experience.  We'll have to bring them back on a day that has better weather and I'm sure they'll last longer then.
On our way home we stopped at Cabela's and looked at the fish and other stuffed wildlife.  The girl's thought it was pretty cool.

Although we love our Alivia to death, it was fun to take the older girls to do something and give them all our attention.  We had a good time.
