Stevenson Spring Day

My Mom always tries to focus on spiritual stuff for Easter, but she loves doing a hunt for the kids, so this is why we have our Spring Day.  It's usually when we do our Amazing Family Race as well (or something like it).

First we had a delicious barbecue dinner of hamburgers, hot dogs and all that goes with it.  My brother Brandon was so nice and took it upon himself to feed Alivia for dinner.  She was loving it.

The kids ate their dinner rather quickly of course, because after dinner it was time to hunt for their fun stuff.  They look forward to it every year and couldn't contain their excitement

Next it was the "big kids" turn.  My parents had prepared 8 different Minute to Win It games and we competed against each other for points.  I won't go into detail about each task, but they were pretty fun to watch (and do) and also pretty difficult. 

 I am pleased to say that in the end...the Rollins won it with 6 points!!  Woohoo!  Rob and I killed it, I gotta say. :)  The reward for winning is to get our picture on my parents wall for the year, but we all got the same prize.  My parents bought us tickets to go ziplining in Provo!  I'm so excited!  Sounds like tons of fun.  We'll probably go in July or something.

Another successfully fun night of family fun.  This is what it's all about.  My parents (Mom especially) puts so much work and thought into these nights, it's almost like Christmas.
