Valentine's Day

You feelin the love?  As usual, Valentine's Day was pretty low key at our house this year.  Ever since I worked in a flower shop I haven't been such a big fan of the holiday.  It doesn't make a lot of sense to me that we have one day a year appointed to tell the people we love that we love them.  But I can also see the fun in it, hence our low key celebration.
These are the Valentine treats Rob came home from work with for us.  The girls were so excited about their dancer chocolates and Princess Fun Dips.  I was loving my chocolates and Ring Pop.  He actually got down on one knee and asked me to be his Valentine with that ring. haha  So cute.
I invited Dee and Chels and their boys over to frost some Valentine's cookies.  I'm kicking myself for not getting any pictures of that.  We had fun.  Ani made sure to make a cookie for Rob and we also made him a "heart attack" and put it on the garage door so he would see it when he came home.
Here's our fancy dinner..heart pizza from Papa Murphys.  Yum
Rob and Aivree dancing.  I just thought this was too cute.  She loves to dance with her daddy.
The girls enjoying their fun dips.
 Love this picture
My parents came by and brought us some donuts with this cute little sign.
And here are all the goodies we have to show for our Valentine's Day (Rob's parents made us the cupcakes).  Sheesh, it was worse than Christmas!  I can't believe all the treats we got.  We had a fun Valentine's Day.  Life is good when you're with those you love.
The following Saturday, February 18, was the anniversary of mine and Rob's first kiss.  12 years, can you believe it?  That was all it took and I was his forever. :)  We usually wait until the 18th to go on a date, we can dodge the crowds better that way and it means more to us personally.  Rob was very thoughtful and got a babysitter and took me to see the movie The Vow.  It was such a chick flick, so the fact that he chose the movie was really sweet.  It was a pretty good movie too.  After we went and ate dinner at Subway (a sandwich sounded really good to me) and then it was time to pick up the girls.  It was so much fun.  I love going on dates with my hot husband. :)  I'm a very lucky girl.

Congratulations on another sweet little girl, you sure do have beautiful girls so one more should be fabulous! Poor Rob I do hope he gets a boy one day, I know my husband would be pretty sad himself to not have a boy to play ball, fish and all that other stuff with.

And 12 years since your first kiss, if that's not sweet!
