Clinton Days

On July 16th, Anisten's studio where she takes dance was in the Clinton Days parade and she had so much fun being in the Fourth of July parade, we thought we'd let her do this one too. Lexi was going to be in this parade again so it was fun to watch with family. This parade has become really big so we had to wait awhile to see Anisten but we finally did see her float coming up the road. I searched and searched all over the float and couldn't see her and I got a little worried so I looked behind the float and guess what I saw? Anisten dancing and grooving while she walked in the parade. It was so cute. I guess that once she was done throwing her candy she decided it'd be fun to get down and dance to the music. We were going to have her come out of the parade when she got to us because we were towards the end, but she was having too much fun.

Side Note: (We have a video of her in the parade and while she's looking over and waving at us she trips over a boy who's doing some tumbling. It's so funny and so cute... the sad and really annoying thing is that I can't find the SD card with that video on it. Why oh why do they have to make things so tiny nowadays? I will find it..I WILL)
Here she comes Hi Everyone! And there she goes..the picture doesn't do it justice but she was groovin
Here's Lexi and the officers. She threw us so much candy (and cupcakes!) and they all sang Happy Birthday to Kina because it was her birthday.
Silly little Aivree just wanted to sit with Grandpa in the shade and eat candy again. I think by this point she was all "paraded" out. They weren't so much fun anymore.

After the parade we headed down to Lehi to see Ben and Brooke's new baby and then we came back home for a BBQ at the Rollins and then fireworks at Clinton Days. We decided to let the girls stay up to see the fireworks this time and we watched them with Mom and Dad Rollins and Stu, Sommer and Fisher. Before the fireworks started we went to the carnival and let the girls do a couple rides (they were so crazy expensive..and the people were a bit scary too). Aivree went on the Merry Go Round with Daddy and Anisten went on the big slide with me.

Here's me and Anisten going up the stairs to the big slide
Aivree, Rob, Stu and Fisher getting ready for the Carny Carousel

Coming down the slide
Waiting for the fireworks to start. What cute cousins :)

Crazy kids

and of course, I had to get pictures of what we stayed up for...

Ooooooo,

Aahhhhh!

I think the girls had fun and they did pretty good. They actually seemed to get kind of bored of the fireworks after awhile (and Aivree of course didn't like the sound), but it was fun for them to experience. It was a long day, but a fun one.
