Happy Birthday to US!

Since Rob's birthday is on September 30th and mine is on October 29th, we decided to go on a date on October 17th to celebrate our birthdays. First we went and ate at Chilis, then we went to iRock at the Solomon Center in Ogden and climbed some rock walls. This was the first time ever climbing for me, so it was pretty fun/scary/tiring. I got a little nervous the higher I climbed, but I loved it. I can't believe how much it wore me out though! Quite the workout. Rob's a somewhat seasoned climber although he hasn't been in a long time, so it was fun for him to go too. After climbing we went and saw Fame at the Megaplex theater. It was pretty good. It was nice for us to finally get away together. Dates have become pretty scarce lately.

Here is Rob at the top of the highest wall. Nice
Here I am beginning to climb a wall. This was toward the end of our session, so I was pretty tired.Rob and I at iRock in our climbing gear.
Here is Anisten enjoying a cupcake on Rob's birthday. I tried to take her picture about 12 times and her eyes were closed in every one.
She loves cupcakes (frosting)!
The nice thing about Rob's birthday was that it rained so he didn't have to go to work! We didn't do much, but at least we got to spend the day with him. This is the Sunday after Rob's birthday and we are all just hanging out before church. Aivree loved playing with his birthday balloons.

This was awhile ago, but the pictures are so cute I wanted to make sure I posted them. We decided to take advantage of one of the last sunny/warmish days so we took the girls on a bike ride.
The only way Aivree would fit in the stroller/trailer was if I put her in her Bumbo. I don't think she was too comfortable, but she did okay. It's a good thing Anisten is so little or they wouldn't have both fit in there.
Rob started going to Weber State this semester and a week after he started school he was called to be the Young Men's President. So with a full time job, full time schooling and a pretty consuming church calling, we don't get to see much of him. It's been pretty crazy and it hasn't been easy, but it has made us realize how precious the time is that we get to spend together. Family is everything and I am so grateful for mine!
