Our lawn is finally finished

After months of hard work and money and sweat and tears (not really) we finished most of our yard. We haven't done much with the flower beds yet as you can see, but our main goal for this year was to get the yard ready for seed and get the seed planted. What a pain to have to rake and rake and rake, but we finally got it to where it was satisfactory enough for Rob and after less than a week of putting the seed down we have this:

It seemed to sprout up overnight and every morning there's more. It's fun to see it grow and I am very pleased with how its looking so far.

Here is Anisten's little corner of the yard under our deck. Since we didn't have grass this year, she got this instead (not that she didn't love playing in the dirt). Rob hung a swing for her and we got the little rocks so it's like her own little playground. She loves it and it's almost always nice and shaded.

Here she is swinging at the beginning of the year before we got it finished. She loves to swing!
