Since Anisten is in school all day long now, it's been kind of an adjustment around here. Especially for Aivree...and therefore me as well. She just can't figure out what to do with herself. She's so bored without her constant playmate. Her and Alivia are learning to become friends though and finding ways to play together which is cute.
Here they are dancing
playing on the Leappad
and, you know, playing in a box.
Aivree loves to be involved in Alivia's storytime before her nap now
We've gone a couple walks while the weather is still nice and the girls were really good in the stroller/trailer thing.
Except here, Livi isn't sure where she's supposed to be sitting
We went to the park and played for a little bit and then I ran back home. It was fun for them and I got my workout in.
Aivree has learned to play on her own at times. Here she is being my little teenager, watching her Letter Factory video on her Leappad with headphones in her bed.
She does get to watch some TV most days (her favorite part of the day, I must say) and her favorite show right now is Doc Mcstuffins, which I don't mind at all. It's a super cute show and I love what it teaches (so glad she traded Dora in for Doc!!). Here she is being a little Doc Mcstuffins and helping a "patient"
We do, of course, make a tent about everyday. Here's one of them
I just love this picture and wanted to include it. Anisten and Aivree have been practicing non stop to be whistlers. They wanted to learn how to whistle, and they've been getting pretty good at it. Here's Aivree, my little whistler.
We also go to the store often. Poor Aivree, that's one of the most frequent "outings" we go on and she's getting to where she doesn't want to go to the store...ever. But, sometimes even she wants to get out of the house. This time she brought her kitty and buckled her in the car seat and everything. Such a cute little momma.
Every once in a while, the stars align and we go on a "fun" outing to the park or something.
Look who knows how to cross the monkey bars!
Alivia trying to escape
My girls love to swing
So, as you can see, we are adjusting. As sad as it is that we don't have Anisten with us to play everyday anymore, we know that she's having a great time at school and that soon enough, all my sweet girls are going to leave me all day long to go to school. So we're going to enjoy these precious moments of fun and time together while we can.
