My birthday this year was great. It started out like any other day, the girl's waking me up and me getting them ready for the day. I took Anisten to school and then went to lunch at Chick-Fil-A with my mom. We went to the Sweet Tooth Fairy after that and got some treats and window shopped for a minute and came home in time for Ani to get home from school. Rob was working in Provo that week, but luckily he made it home by about 5 pm and we were able to go out on a date. My parents watched the girls while we went to dinner at Cafe Zupa's (our favorite!!!) and then went to the mall and walked around for a bit, just enjoying the absence of children for a minute. We seriously hadn't been to the mall in so long, we were curious to see how much had changed. It was so fun to be together and have a date and it was definitely the highlight of my birthday.
The day before my birthday, we celebrated at my parents house with everyone. My mom made the most delicious dinner and this yummy cake (my present is sticking out of it...some spending money! Woohoo!)
When I woke up, Rob had left these by the door and the new Taylor Swift CD on the door. The White Coconut is something we haven't tried before and it is absolutely wonderful! Rob did a nice job.
Cake bites from The Sweet Tooth Fairy. These are my favorite (the cupcakes are a bit much I think, but still good)
When Rob came home from work he gave me these beautiful roses (that lasted for days) and the sweetest card ever with more spending money inside (including what he got for his birthday!) He was having a hard time shopping for me and to be honest I wasn't much help because I didn't even know what I wanted. So cash always works. :)
It's crazy to say that I'm 30. I don't really feel like I'm 30, until I start trying to do backhandsprings or aerials or something that I used to be able to do. :) It is a dream come true to have my three beautiful daughters and wonderful husband and every year I get to spend with them is another blessing in my life. It truly is something to celebrate.
