Alivia at two months

Are you kidding me?  Two months already?  Oh it makes me so sad.  I just want time to slow down when it comes to my babies growing.  I LOVE my little babies and it makes me sad when they grow so fast..which they definitely do, especially in the beginning!  I can't say enough about how wonderful Alivia has been.  I seriously have no complaints.  She has been such a good eater and sleeper and just a wonderful happy, easy baby.  Honestly, the only thing that has worried me about her is that she doesn't poop often enough.  And really, most people wouldn't complain about that! ;)
I tried a new "method" with Alivia and sleep training and that was the Babywise method.  Of course, with any parenting technique, I use it as a guideline more than anything.  I never used to feel good about waking a sleeping baby which was why Aivree got her days and nights mixed up and I suffered because of it.  Well, we all did really.  So during the day I made sure I would wake Alivia up and feed her regularly so that during the night she would sleep longer and it worked wonderfully.  Makes me wish I'd used it on my other children.  Her schedule is predictable, but also flexible and seems to be changing almost constantly because so is she.  She started sleeping at least seven hours a night around six weeks and now she sleeps 7-9 hours a night.  It's been wonderful and I honestly don't think I'd be able to handle things any other way.
Here's my sweet little sleeper.  She sleeps better when she's swaddled (not that she likes it though)
Aren't those cute little piggies?
Here she is sleeping in the car, definitely not her favorite place to sleep.  She doesn't sleep real well in there anymore.
Every once in a while she'll get those arms out as you can see in these pictures
These crack me up...she starts out with her arms inside her blanket and by the time nap is over they are all the way up to her head.  Funny girl

One of my favorite things that she does is when I take her out of her swaddle she always has a Biiigg stretch

And here are some pictures of her during wakeful times, which is getting to be longer (and funner).  I wasn't the best at giving her tummy time all the time, but she is already doing really well at holding her head up
First experience in the Bumbo at four weeks.  How cute is that?
Big eyes like her mama
I just love these shoes.  So fun that all three girls got to wear them
All ready to go in her car seat
Pretty girl hanging out on a blankie.  I love this outfit and am so sad that she's already growing out of it

During Kaylee's photo shoot, we put Alivia in this fancy getup.  She did look adorable sitting in that suitcase
And of course, you can't forget to mention her two big sisters that just can't get enough of her.

Lately she's been paying much more attention to toys.  This is the little bear mobile that hangs on her pack n play and so when we change her diaper she looks at them and smiles
She's also loved this little toy.  It keeps her pretty occupied talking and kicking and smiling

Smiling is our new favorite thing...I just can't get enough of her little Alivia Smiles
Oh I just love this girl
