My little Sunbeam!!

Last week was Anisten's first week as a Sunbeam and the week before I found out I'd be joining her! I was already teaching in the Primary, but they moved me from the 7-8 year olds to the Sunbeams! I was excited about teaching the sunbeams, but a little worried that Anisten would be in my class. I don't want it to be harder on her when we move and I'm no longer her teacher, but I think she'll do okay. We'll approach that when it comes.
It almost made me cry though when I saw Anisten the week before in Nursery and they were taking all the "future sunbeams" into Primary. I can't believe how big she's getting! I know that's cliche, but it's so true. Time has just flown by.
Anisten in her Sunbeam crown Well, as an initiation into Primary it seemed, they gave the Sunbeams the opening exercises assignments on only their second week in Primary! Anisten was lucky enough to end up with a talk. We practiced just a little bit throughout the week and I have to say, she did so good! It was the cutest thing in the world! I held up the picture and whispered in her ear what to say and she said everything very clearly in the microphone. I was so proud of her. The night before we asked her what her talk was about and she said "The Tree of Life." She also gave the prayer all by herself in class. Seriously, how did she get so big???

It's moments like this that I am so grateful for the gospel and how our church is set up. There is no way Rob and I could teach her all of these things on our own. She has learned so much just in Nursery.
Speaking of, Aivree is having a hard time adjusting to Anisten being out of Nursery. She did better with her there, obviously. She's doing okay though, and with time she'll get to where she loves it too. What a blessing the gospel is in our lives.
