Well our family had a crazy week last week. Anisten got sick with some kind of stomach flu bug and was throwing up and diarrhea all over the place. It was so sad. I'd never seen her sick like that before. Then she gave it to me and my dad. Not fun. So, on Saturday since we were all feeling better and since the weather was so nice and since I've wanted to go for so long...we took Ani to the zoo! It was a bit crowded and a bit warm, but all in all it was a good time.
Here she is (and some other people) waiting to get tickets so we can go in. What a zoo!
Anisten loved this waterfall thing where you go to see the white alligator. She also loved the white alligator! She got all upset when we had to leave because there was a line of people behind us.
This was probably her favorite. She kept say "Elph-ant! Elph-ant!"
Ani and her daddy with some weird monkey thing. I can't even remember what it was. We were just happy to see something close and moving (as usual, many of the animals were asleep or comatose).
Of course we had to get pictures of the cougars. Go cougs!
Anisten loved the Meerkats! This one was running back and forth so fast (which is why it's not in the picture) and Anisten was chasing it and laughing.
Here you can see the Meerkats a bit better. They were fighting.
Here's Rob and Anisten with the giraffes. She was about ready to go at this point.
I saved this one for last because I thought it was so cute. This creature (I wish I knew what the heck it was) was sitting right up against the glass and looked right at Anisten. Classic.

She is just too cute! I loved taking Blaise to the zoo - aren't kids the best? Sounds like you are having a fun summer.
I can't wait to have kids so that i have an excuse to go hang out at the zoo. Anisten looked like she thoroughly enjoyed it and Brianne, you look so cute. I loved your last post, anisten's swim suit is adorable.
I'm so glad you had fun at the zoo, I wish you could've gone with us! Oh well, we will have to go again so you can see the bird show!! Ani, I loved the meerkats too, I thought they were funny!!
I like the last picture too! It looks like the monkey is right next to her. Also I am so sorry you guys were sick that is so awful!! Anisten looks as cute as ever!
The zoo is SO fun and those are some very cute pictures! I'm glad you're all feeling better now as well!!
That last picture is adorable! Don't you love it when you catch those moments on camera! One time when I went to the zoo when I was like 12 or something, I was watching the giraffes through the fence and one walked right up to me and licked my hand. Grose and funny all at the same time. Everytime I see a giraffe I think of that big black tounge... Nice thought to leave you with huh!
I love going to the Zoo with the kids! What is it about all those animals even if they aren't moving? Cute pictures! I am glad you are all feeling better, and that you had such a good time!
Hey Brianne.....Just checked out your blog!......very cute! I was glad to talk to you and get to know ya a little better at the garden party. Cute pics of Aniston, she's a darling girl.
