Well, first of all I just wanted to apologize for being such a slacker in the blogging area. I didn't really have much to blog about, but someone kindly informed me (you know who you are-AS) that it didn't matter if my life is boring, I should still update the blog. So, here I go.
This past weekend our family experienced the First Annual Amazing Family Race. We did this for Spring Day which is our family substitute for an Easter Egg Hunt. I don't know if any of you have seen The Amazing Race, but that is what our family race was based on and it was a blast. We had tasks to complete and we drove all around Layton trying to get to the "Pitt Stop" first. Sadly, my family (Rob, Ani and I) came in fourth (dang traffic!). If any of you know how many kids there are in my family, you know what that means...ahem...last place. It was extremely fun nonetheless and next year we are going to kick some butt! Just you all wait and see!

I was so excited to put her in a short sleeve shirt since it had been so cold, but she still had to wear a jacket. Dang Utah weather! It's Spring Day for crying out loud, why can't we get some Spring weather?!

Anisten's hair is so cute! I wish my little girls had enough hair to be able to do fun stuff like that. How sweet that she lets you do her hair all up.
That is such a cute idea for your family to do, so creative. I love Anisten's hair, hopefully one day I get a cute little girl to do fun things with her hair. However I'm sure it would not turn out as cute as Anisten's
How fun I want to do the race, sounds like fun! You can come out to Maryland and enjoy 75 degree weather with me and Anisten can wear all the short sleeve shirts she wants. Also Anisten looks cute like always! I love her hair, that is something I won't have to worry about for a while. I love the pictures!
I love fam activities ilke that, that looks like so much fun!! How creative is your family? Maybe I'll have to get more info from you on how to do that because I think my fam would love doing that too! And Anisten is such a doll!! If we have a girl, I sure hope that she has hair like your little girl's, I didn't have that much hair til I was 4 (really, I was a baldy) but either way :)
What a fun little family activity...thats a cute idea. I know what you mean about this crazy Utah weather, I sure enjoyed the snow today on the first of May!!
Awe, my cute Ani girl. I can't believe her hair is that long. Dang, we need to come up and visit you guys. Give her lots of loves from Aunt Brooke. BTW, that totally looks like fun, Amazing Race. (one of our fav shows, too)
I love the amazing race, my mom and I always say it would be fun to do a family one! I bet it was so much for all of you, even if you didn't win. I am excited fro faye to get hair in about 10 years so I can start to do cute things with it like you do.
How much more creative/fun can your family be??? I Don't think my family could ever do this though because there might actually be some real punching going on... Why oh why can't I click on your pictures to get a closer view?
