Well, it's been awhile since I've posted and unfortunately it's not because I've been on vacation; it's because life got a little crazy... AGAIN. At the beginning of September we received a notice on our door saying the house we were renting was under foreclosure and was going to be put up for auction October 5. We'd heard a lot of things and talked to a lot of people and figured that we might get the chance to stay and rent from the bank after the auction. Well, at the auction no one bought the house so it became bank-owned and we were contacted by the "bank" the next day. The options they gave us were to be out in two weeks or be out in 30 days (with compensation)..but no choice to stay. So it looked like moving boxes were once again in our immediate future after only five months since their last visit. Ugh!! I just really don't like moving. Really, really don't like it. But there wasn't much I could do about it so I was forced to start up all that packing again. Luckily we'd sold/got rid of a lot of things on the last move so we had less to move this time. Each time we get rid of a little bit more. :)
We looked for places to rent near where we will be building and we couldn't find an affordable house to rent that would give us a six month lease or less, so it was back to my parents house who were offering their basement again with open arms (I know, they're crazy!) So in the midst of the stomach flu and some fun harvest/halloween activities we managed to pack up and move once again. As far as things go with our new house; we should close on our construction loan next week and then we'll be seeing a lot less of Rob around for awhile. We're hoping this house doesn't take too long to build since we are downsizing quite a bit, but we're expecting that we'll be moving again in the spring sometime. Three times in one year is some sort of record right?
Poor Anisten got sick with the stomach flu just before we had to start packing up. She could not keep anything down for so long. It was so sad.

Oh Brianne I am so sorry that is so crappy to have to pack up and move again, it's the worst!
And the stomach flu on top of it, yuck!
On the bright side those pictures of Anisten helping pack are darling and look how wonderfully she writes her name, cute!
Oh my goodness, what a pain! Moving really is no fun at all...but you had some good help, so I am sure that made it easier! Parents are the best, but I am sure you are excited to be in your own house again!
Poor Brianne....I can't even imagine. So sad that you just got done doing all that and then had to start all over. Plus I just hate feeling unsettled like that, hopefully you can get into your new home pretty quick!!
Oh Bri you poor thing!!! I seriously can't believe that happened! Poor little Anisten being sick is the worst and I swear once it gets a little cold your little ones get the stomach flu. I hope things are better.
I can't believe that!!! So crazy but sounds like you guys are still doing great. Your story was pretty much our lives last year... we totally understand how you feel! Anyway, I hope the house is built fast so you can be in your home soon!
