The Goon!

On August 14th we went to Lagoon (Ani kept calling it The Goon)! It was Aivree's first time ever and the last time we took Ani she was just a baby, so we were excited. My parents brought Brandon and Aimee's kids, Cody, Sara and Wesley. It was a little scary because the adults were outnumbered and it's such a big crazy place, but luckily we didn't lose anyone...for long. :)

At first Anisten was very nervous, of course. She saw the big rides (Ferris Wheel, Roller Coaster, etc.) as we were driving up and started thinking twice about this riding rides thing. I had to explain that there were rides for little kids in there too.

The first ride we decided to go on, I can't remember the name, but it was just the little spaceships that go round and round. Anisten got in line, but then backed out when she found out I wasn't going on it (I was too big, darn it). So she watched her cousins ride it while we tried to convince her how much fun they were having without her.

Ani still wasn't too excited about riding rides even after watching her cousins have a great time. So my mom and I forced her and Aivree on the next ride. It was like a mini Tidal Wave and it spun around too. Tiki something. They were both screaming and crying at the beginning but by the time it was over, Ani didn't want to get off. She wasn't scared after that and that began her riding adventures...

Ani just had to have the dragon on this ride and it was by far her favorite ride. In this picture she's saying...I LOVE THIS ONE! You can see on her face how much she likes it :)

Ani and I on Ladybug Drop. This ride happened to be her least favorite. It's like a kid version of the rocket (which Rob hates, so it must be where she gets it). She screamed so loud the whole time. It was a little funny though

We had so much fun at Lagoon and we will have to try and make it back more often. The girls had a blast and it was fun watching them on the rides.

We got validated to bounce back while we were there so my mom generously offered to watch the girls so Rob and I could go and enjoy Lagoon the following week. We got to ride lots of rides and Rob didn't even get sick. We also shared our first Funnel Cake (interesting, but good). What a fun date night! I love you babe!
