So...Pink or Blue????

I'm sure that is the question on everyone's mind, right? Well, on Wednesday morning I had my 17 week appointment and fortunately, Rob was able to come too. We went to do the ultrasound and the baby is all curled up in the bottom of my uterus in the fetal position (well obviously, it's a fetus!) Dr. J starts showing us the cute little spine and we see and hear the heartbeat and see the legs and all that fun cute stuff. So he's trying to move the baby around a bit and push on it to wake it up a little, but it ain't movin much. He gets under it and guess what he sees....three little lines. Who knows what that means??? PINK!!!! So, he moves around some more to see if he can get a better look and he says, "All I'm seeing are these three lines. I wouldn't go changing your wallpaper yet, but if I was going to bet on it, I would bet it was a girl." And that is exactly what he said when we found out Anisten was a girl. So, we got another girl on the way! (42% of you were right!) The positive's to it being a girl are that it will be lots cheaper as far as clothes go and hopefully her and Anisten will be best buds. Don't feel too terribly bad for Rob. He actually took it really well and how can you not when you are staring at this adorable little person, that you had a part in creating? It's amazing how much you love them from the very beginning. I figured this would be great for Rob anyway because he grew up around all boys for the most part and this gives him the opportunity to get in touch with his feminine side. haha (oh, he'll love that) Someday, we'll have a picture of his daughters putting makeup on him and doing his hair. Aww, how cute. I guess that there still may be a slight possibility that it's a boy (we have the big ultrasound at like 24 weeks) but either way we are happy to have a healthy little baby on the way. :)
